She Is Not the Savior the Left Is Looking For.http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2016/07/27/jill_stein_is_not_the_savior_the_left_is_looking_for.html

Now that Hillary Clinton has officially won the Democratic presidential nomination, chances are we're going to hear a lot more about Jill Stein. The Green Party candidate, currently polling in the low single digits nationally, has been gunning for the support of disaffected Bernie Sanders fans, urging them to keep the revolution going by getting behind her own long-shot White House bid. Tuesday, she was on hand at the Democratic convention to meet aggrieved Sanders delegates, some of whom formed a small crowd around her to chant, Bernie or Jill. Thanks to progressive grassroots rage, she may well peel off a few percentage points of the vote come the fall, when she's expected to be on the ballot in about 47 states.
Which is a pity. Because even by the standards of protest candidates, Steinwhose press team did not respond to an interview requestis an absolutely awful torchbearer for the far left.
She's a Harvard-trained physician who panders to pseudoscience.
She mangles pet policy issues.
And her cynical retelling of the past eight years has nothing to do with the reality of recorded history.

the epitome of, to use the verbiage Skinner provided in his OP, ""Bitter, vindictive dead-enders who call themselves progressives but aren't voting for Hillary in November", imo.

(25,471 posts)4. After she said in an interview that Clinton's first act in office could be to start a nuclear war
with Russia, I knew that my prior opinion of her - that she's a grandstanding attention-seeker - was pretty much spot on.
There's a reason why she's a perpetual political loser. That anyone is taking her seriously is beyond my understanding.

produce one I followed the real Bernie to the Dems. I like the Green platform and ideals, but I don't feel they always find the best candidates for President.

To show the holdouts that even if we didn't have a two-party system, Jill Stein really isn't so great.
