What exactly about Bernie is 'socialist' in the definition that the Repugs would have used against him. And you know they would have used that against him. And many people would get sucked in by their attacks and be turned against him.

I think more people would equate communist with Russia as Russia has been our adversaries for pretty much all of my lifetime and I'm 67 y/o.

I'm just saying that if the Repugs would use such an attack against Bernie - why don't the Dems launch such an attack against Trump.

I'm under 40; the Berlin Wall came down when I was 12, the Soviet Union ceased to exist before i started high school. I don't think of Russia as "communist" and I rather suspect that most people under 50 or so probably don't, either.
