Healthcare spin....

I was not blessed with the gift of witty comebacks. I need something for the people at work that are now SO SURE that businesses will lay people off, go under, etc because of "Obama Care" and the cost for businesses.

I do appreciate their shocked expressions when I say that I don't think the Health Care Bill went far enough.

I remind them that there is little oversight for Insurance companies and they are allowed to run roughshod over the country denying whomever they want, without thought or consideration.

So....fellow DU'ers, I need help with some facts about Health care for the next conversation.

I am also disappointed at the lack of empathy and sympathy for people that are not white, upper middle class, living in big homes, with over priced cars. What has happened to the Repubs that they are so uncaring and unfeeling? You don't have to answer, it is rhetorical!

I was raised by a proud Democratic Grandmother, who passed away last Saturday, and did not live to see her President get re-elected. I am sure she is waving a huge American flag in Heaven with my Grandfather. She had the ability go give witty comebacks, and could drop you dead in your tracks with something on topic and timely. Hopefully she'll send me some of that gift.

FYI....YEAH! President Obama won! Sorry, have no other place to gloat a bit!!
