romney backers: "if we can't have america, no one can!"

this is sad, it is like a child who sees someone else with something they want and they decide if they can't have it, then the child who does can't either. from a crazy romney voter:

"As an American at this point I am praying for the destruction of this nation. This election has proved just how full of crap the American public is. We are past the point of no return. All I can do is hope the stupid are allevieated and justice will prevail but I think I would have to be on another planet for that to happen. In other words, My fellow Americans have lost my respect and I will never lay my life on the line for these people. There was a time where I would but no longer shall I hold that conviction. I am just so sick with all of this right now. I hope Karma pays a visit to those who deserve it soon."

they had to eat sour grapes in '08, so it must be doubly painful to do it again here in '12 — but why can't they say it that way? instead, it is "america is dead to me, i am no longer an american, i hate any american who voted anything but romney. i hate my nation."

They are hanging on by their fingernails to the past, refusing to face the fact that the country has changed.

Well, I have news for them. This IS America. And as they like to say, love it or leave it.

HATE is what is wrong with x% of the Republican Party! The negativity and hatred in some of them (or most, I hate to say) wasn't brought out by the fact that they lost, it was inside of them from the beginning! Had they in fact won, the bias, racism and bigotry would be masked by victory, then later released on the ones that they hate in full force. The "change" they spoke of was degressive not progressive, it's human nature to move forward in order to learn from the past in an effort to improve the future.

My thoughts exactly IF Mitt would have won. But he didn't and so this nation goes on.

what spoiled and selfish brats !!! "Praying for the destruction of this nation" Yeah, right. Then leave it.
"Lost respect for my fellow americans" i'm sure that respect was lost before this election.
"I will never lay my life on the line for these people" obviously not a military man or someone who really cares about this country -- you know unpatriotic

I wonder if this person felt this way after Romney lost the 2008 primary to McCain?

They sau that shit because they are fed it everyday from Faux, Limbaugh, Savage & whatever fucked hate site they visit. They can not even hear their own words, they have no understanding of what they are talking about and what their 'ideal' America would be like.

Then they act like spoiled little brats because they did not get what they thought they should have.

When we lost elections, what did we do? Buckle down, work hard, develop candidates, get our message out, knock on doors, and get out the vote UNTIL WE WON!

What do they do? Pray for the destruction of America.

Those prayers, fortunately, are falling on deaf ears, if any ears at all.

gosh, that makes me sick. you know, the electoral college would be perfect, america would be perfect, and they would have all the smiles, faith, and good words in the world if romney had won. they can't even admit they are just upset at losing two elections in a row against a president they really loathe — they have to act like this election result is the first sign of the apocalypse and say they are praying for fiery comets to rain down on the blue states or something.

people with influence, these big heads in the public vision, should never be so irresponsible as to call for falsely-justfied riots like many are. if one does come through, people who have nothing to do with the post-results tantrum could be hurt very badly. it scares me when they are so blasé about saying they are "not american" or would "love to see the country suffer for what it did."
