The DCCC was just hacked

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) on Friday confirmed reports that it had been hacked, saying the breach is similar to the one that hit the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

"The DCCC can confirm that we have been the target of a cybersecurity incident,” spokeswoman Meredith Kelly said in a statement. “Upon discovering the issue, we immediately took action and engaged with CrowdStrike, a leading forensic investigator, to assist us in addressing this incident.
“The investigation is ongoing,” she added. “Based on the information we have to date, we’ve been advised by investigators that this is similar to other recent incidents, including the DNC breach.”

It's one thing to be caught off guard momentarily, but it's professional malpractice to remain that way indefinitely!

12. It's not cheap, but cheaper than a data breach. But, good IT guys can keep it reasonable.

.

You need at least 3 server tiers to protect a back-end system (if done correctly).

The problem is, many IT guys make back-doors and put in tricks to gain easy access to make their lives easier.

Others will be stupid enough to connect the middle or back-end to the internet.

While good IT guys can keep it reasonable, and it takes a team of people, not one person can secure a system.

Reasonableness is subjective, since the costs might rise due to patronage, politically-appointed contracts, etc..

you need to cheat to get majorities in the Congress. We need to work hard people because there is so much to lose. Notice no Republican orgs get hacked. Hope the trail leads directly to Trump or the RNC.

and ostensibly 'nonpartisan' in its coverage. RWers, who apparently have way too much time on their hands, do seem to dominate the replies section.

It seems like the RW nut jobs favorite thing is posting in the comments section. some of these get paid a small amount for posting.
The whole idea is to make people think that their are a lot of them.As if I could give a shit about what some anonymous internet troll says.

Banks still get robbed everyday, even with extra security.

Thieves gonna thieve.
