Remember the 3 Arkansas state reps. that loved slavery and wanted to deport Muslims?

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=260818

They all 3 lost last night:

http://www.arktimes.com/ArkansasBlog/archives/2012/11/06/landslides-for-barack-obama-for-arkansas-republicans

* THE THREE REPUBLICAN STOOGES: David Kizzia of Malvern beat neo-Confederate Republican Loy Mauch of Bismarck; Harold Copenhaver of Jonesboro defeated another Republican slavery apologist and imnmigrant hater, Rep. Jon Hubbard, and James McLean beat the wacky former Republican Rep. Charlie Fuqua in Batesville. A flurry of last-minute publicity about these races helped Democrats immeasurably and tightened the final House count considerably.

What a disgrace to our country that we have elected officials like those assholes in government.

We have low voter turnout here in CA. I mean, 35% in a midterm is discusting. We should have 60-70%. Lets make sure we accomplish that in 2 years. The RW knows low turnout will get their crap on us again.

I don't care if they win every fight, but they need to stand up against the GOP, consistently, unequivocally, and publicly.

The voters need to see that there's a real choice.

Here's a test: The ones who like the word bipartisan are not doing the job we need them to do.

To put it another way: How would you like a bipartisan army that wanted to work WITH the enemy troops?

(Hell, yes the GOP is the enemy!)

are now republican, along with a majority in the state senate. ALEC pour millions of dollars into the state the last couple of months.

We need help here from the Democratic Leadership - come visit, make us feel that just because we aren't a swing state, our votes matter! Look at the electoral map - a huge swath of the United States has been disenfranchised from any national attention whatsoever. It's disheartening to being blue in a huge red district, especially when it didn't used to be this - Big Dawg got help from Senators Bumpers and Pryor, all we have now is pink Pryor Jr.

The origins of Hissyspit. My parents both graduated from Bismarck High School.

A lot of mindless racism there (good people, as well, of course.)
