They conned everyone to keep the money rolling in.

It's an argument for profound campaign finance reform.

I've been preaching about this MSM horse race tactic the whole time, but there was always a little part of me that wondered if they could be right. Never again.

Once Pennsylvania was called, they made it pretty clear that they thought Romney had no chance.

I was texting my dad all night and he kept complaining because i would send something like "Obama won Wisconsin" and my dad would say 20 minutes later that MsNBC finally called it. He finally gave up and moved on to a different next work. He said they were terrible last night.

It was a party. Cenk was on with Stephanie Miller and it was a laugh riot.

My fiancee on the other hand was watching MSNBC and was crying when I called her. They kept saying Romney was ahead or they were tied and they were talking about who would be in Romney's cabinet and what it would mean for the country and then all of a sudden they said Obama won.

hey, so what. I didn't think Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, or Nevada were close anyway. However, by mentioning these states as close it got out the vote.
I'd rather be worried and vote then think this election is over, not vote, and then lose.

Listen to Nate Silver above all else now. I think at this point he has been elevated to the position of "infallible". Until he screws up royally, which I doubt will happen, I will trust exactly what he is saying. If he says a dem is going to win, that dem will win, if he says a dem will lose, that dem will lose.

Chuck Todd on the other hand can go fuck himself, with is "toss up" bullshit. Him and everyone like him. I will never, ever, ever listen to what the MSM has to say about an election again. They are always wrong.

The initial exit poll that CNN showed for Minnesota had Obama winning by only 3. How could it be that far off? I have heard of exit polls being wrong but not that wrong.

NBC said they didn't even bother with exit polling there. It was "too early to call" for quite awhile but that was only because the vote counting was extremely slow

Also, is this practice of actually releasing the head to head exit poll numbers when the polls close new? I don't remember them doing that in the past. It does not make sense to me to do it unless they are third wave, which at that point they usually are not.

more republicans than democrats voted early. I think we lost margins in OH, FL and VA due to voter suppression, such as reduced early voting in OH and FL, no early voting in Va, long lines. That easily could have reduced the margins.
