As such, she is going to be a target of some animosity on DU. After some of the ridiculous statements that she has made recently about our candidate, the animosity is well-deserved.

Stein is no doubt pandering to the fringes, but that doesn't excuse her silly statements. They deserve scorn.

She could well prove to be a spoiler in an election where the primary opponent is Donald Trump. Donald Trump in the presidency would be the equivalent of France electing Marine Le Pen. His incredible lack of knowledge, know nothingness, racism and narcissism would likely result in his exploding the U.S. -- and thus the world's -- economies.

Trump's giving the Russians the green light to move into former satellite states that are now NATO members would reverberate all the way to France in terms of a refugee crisis far more overwhelming than the current one. At the very worst, Trump's lack of foreign policy knowledge and his ego could lead to a widespread war in Europe.

And you actually have a problem with sharp criticism of Jill Stein? That boggles the mind.

But I do think your concern is misplaced. Stein is an inexperienced, ill informed, and dangerous zealot. She deserves all the criticism she gets.
