Are we on the precipice of rebuilding the middle class and a 50's type boom? Thanks to the Donald

Hillary Clinton..my one piece of advice is grab Martin O'Malley and just listen to that man.. you will love it..

But besides seeing all those green jobs.. in setting up and maintaining things such as wind-turbines..(My favorite O'Malley line was .. when you see those big rigs carrying wind turbines down the free way.. and we see it all the time in Iowa..you are seeing good paying jobs!)

But like President Obama..Hillary is talking jobs to rebuild the infrastructure.. (what we really need is investment in this country) Roosevelt did it.. Eisenhower did it (the highways program)
and we would have done it under Obama, except for the Republicans who refused to fund the infrastructure..

But the Donald may actually have turned even republicans off so much that we regain the Senate and tie up the worst of the tea party in the house .. so we can get these programs through..

Think about this.. we have at least 20 years of blue collar work to get our infrastructure rebuilt.. at least.. and in that 20 yer period we can get the next generations trained to do what will be through robotics and computers.. because that is the way the world is going..

We also will be able to bring back the Mom and Pop buisness.. (you can see it on the internet now)..

I am not saying its raining gum drops.. and that we will not have huge headaches.. but shhhhh.. I think we just might be on the road to a great future for our children and grandchildren..

the republican obstruction, hyper-partisanship, and ever more extreme bigotry and angry rhetoric are reactions to the steady erosion of their power. you can throw in the voter id crap as well.

even the xenophobia is a reaction to this, as immigrants seem more likely to support democrats.

trump is merely evidence that the demographic changes are pushing things to the point where republicans lack to means to fight back enough to keep themselves in power.

hopefully in 2017 they'll be down to the house and filibustering the senate.

by the time the 2020 census is in effect, hopefully we're have full control and really be able to put this country on the right path.

2020 could be a water shed..

Edit to add.. we are seeing people stepping back and away from the republican party which has devolved over the last 4 decades.. to almost a gollum like mind set.. hiding and afraid of the world.. that just does not make it for most people..

of the purse to fund all these programs. It won't happen this year because there just aren't enough R seats up for election to shift the majority.

The first party to make infrastructure a serious issue and resolve it wins for years to come.
