Maybe he'll have dropped out before it can get that far.

Otherwise, sour grapes is the very best I can imagine. Whining that he'd been cheated, challenging the election results, demanding recounts even where the numbers are way out of his favor, taking everyone to court everywhere, maybe even trying to whip his supporters into violent revolt seems most likely.

I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I doubt he had much benefit.

Guys like Bob Dole and Dumbya are considered decent members of the party. I remember how awful I thought Dole was back in 1996. Now he looks like a good guy compared to the assholes running his party now.
