Poll: Clinton Holds Large Lead Over Trump In Critical Pennsylvania

If Donald Trump's road to the White House runs through Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida, as is widely believed, then the latest poll of potential swing state Pennsylvania represents a major roadblock.

The new poll, released Thursday by Franklin & Marshall, shows Clinton ahead of Trump among likely Pennsylvania voters, 49-38. It was conducted in the four days following the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Among 661 registered voters poll, Clinton's lead expands to 13 points, 48-35, according to the poll.

The last Franklin & Marshall in March showed Clinton with a similar lead among registered voter, 46-33.

They were soundly trounced when they insisted on it in 2008 and PA went to Obama, so they toned that down in 2012. Now they are back at it again. PA hasn't voted for a R for President since 1988.

I live in rural western PA--the Alabama part of the state. Trump support here has been very high. In the last week, however, I'm noticing that the yard signs are coming down and the Trump supporters are suddenly discovering Gary Johnson.
