4. An actual spy? No. An unwitting agent? Yes.

One thing spies like Putin learn is how to recognize metal disorders like NPD, and play to the weaknesses of it to manipulate behavior. Putin plays to Trump's narcissism and vanity to manipulate his positions and decisions. Putin would pretty much have his way under President Trump... until Trump felt threatened, then he might over react and we have a shooting war with Russia. He is a very dangerous man.

5. "Agent" does not necessarily mean "spy."

It has several other meanings, and one of those was the intended meaning. An "agent" is usually someone who acts for another. Spies are "agents," but "agents" are not necessarily spies.

Misinterpretation.

11. That's too broad a definition of the word "spy."

Spies are intelligence gathering people. That's the definition. They aren't saboteurs or provocateurs. They gather intelligence.

Words have actual meanings. While all spies are "agents," the converse is not true. All "agents" aren't spies.

19. No spies are also people who destabilize governments for outside governments.

An espionage agent or spy can be put into a position to cause a specific outcome favorable to his host country.

You are actually defining spy activities too narrowly.

14. IMHO Manafort is a Russian operative and Trump's handler.

Trump follows Manafort's orders (in theory) because the Russian mob tells him to or they will take care of Trump's family. Donald probably has some trouble making payments, or maybe the loans from the Russian mob are callable.

17. Does Trump have security clearance

I know he's getting briefings, but did he go through the. Kemal process for security clearance.

The checks they do for various levels of security clearance are not what people usually envision. Mainly they are really concerned with your finances and if someone could use your finances to gain leverage over you. They also care about the finances of your loved ones.

If Trump does owe Russians a ton of money he would never get regular security clearance. Too easy to hold the leverage over him. He's been compromised.

20. It seems like the FBI and CIA have not really investigated Donald Trump or Paul Manafort completely
