Related: About this forumAnother fine mess! MO caucuses again show off Republican incompetence...
These people want to run the country? These people want to "attack waste and fraud?" They can't even run their own primaries without plenty of both....and WHY again did MO have two primaries, one a "beauty contest" the other a study in confusion and chaos?

It was a joke....it was a complete joke. snip
The caucus in St. Charles County, which was held at Francis Howell North High in St. Peters, was adjourned after police said they were going to "shut us down," according to Matt Ehlen, the Republican activist who was named chairman of the meeting. Police said 2,500 people showed up, although organizers put the number at less than 1,000.
"For the safety and well being of the attendants at the caucus, we had to adjourn the meeting," Ehlen said.
However, several individuals at the caucus said much of the consternation revolved around Ehlen himself. Ehlen became chairman after a voice vote, but the head of the county GOP organization failed to recognize any other candidate.
"All of sudden he's the chairman and the place goes nuts," said Tim Finch, a Paul supporter from Dardenne Prairie. "This is not how it's supposed to work."

By STEVEN YACCINO
8:31 p.m. | Updated ST. PETERS, Mo. Voters here in St. Charles County did not get a say on Saturday in who will be the next Republican presidential nominee after a disorderly caucus caused organizers to adjourn before delegates were selected.
The unrest began as the caucus at Francis Howell North High School was called to order more than a hour late, then delayed again when a member of the crowd refused to put away a video camera, as required by the rules outlined by the local Republican Party.
People attended the meeting with an agenda, said Eugene Dokes, chairman of the St. Charles County Republican Central Committee. When that happens, its really hard to accept the authority of the room.
Members of crowd began shouting, We make the rules! among other chants as organizers tried to regain control, which they did briefly. But the shouting quickly escalated when it came time to appoint a chair of the caucus.
