But on a much more serious note, Gellar admitted that she’s been keeping up with the 2016 presidential race and is excited about the future for her children. She is supporting Hillary Clinton, and was ecstatic to watch the former secretary of state make history at the Democratic National Convention as the first woman to lead the presidential ticket of a major political party.
“Yes. I watched it all. I think it’s a very important time for our nation,” Gellar explained. “Look, I respect people’s opinions — it’s a very tricky position to be in, in terms of — I have respect for both parties. And people are allowed to have different view points.”
“I’m incredibly honored that we live in a time that my daughter can understand that there’s a possibility for a woman to be president,” she shared. “That being said, I’m With Her. I have known that family for a very long time, I believe that there is a lot of change that can be made.”

her name always came up on the list of Republican actors although I never thought of her as an extreme right-winger but more old school Republican. Glad she is supporting Hillary!
