Hillary Clinton has advanced among women and consolidated support within her party since her
nominating convention, while a difficult few weeks have left Donald Trump still struggling on
basic ratings from his temperament to his qualifications for office. She leads him by 8 points in a
new ABC News/Washington Post poll.

That is actually a similar level margin as Barack Obama in 2008. I think I recall it as +91that is, Obama 95% John McCain 4%.
In 2012, Obama won Blacks by +87that is, Obama 93% Romney 6%.
This poll indicates even better Democratic support here in 2016.

His white voters support is +12. (In 2012, Mitt Romney carried them nationally by +20.)
She leads with voters 65+. But he leads with voters 30 to, say, 44. (It would usually play out as the opposite.)
The gender gap is +33. (That is outside the norm. In 2008, it was +12. In 2012, it was +19. If she were to win nationally by +8 or even betterover +10I would predict her to carry both genders. Barack Obama did that in 2008he won by +7.26 and carried men by +1 and women by +13 nationally.)
