Wikileaks said they only want to dig up dirt on Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party

Wikileaks said they are not interested in finding Donald Trump or the GOP secret files.

Wonder how they can call what they do legitimate freedom of the press and not a propaganda organization?

I used to loosely support their goals of radical transparency because it was always directed at scumbags and those who escaping justice. This new kind of crap though completely delegitimizes them and makes a more dangerous version of Okeefe as you all mentioned.

many things reported about him over the years suggest that he's just one more dysfunctional person too lead around by his emotions and irrational thinking to take normal care of himself, and that's how he ended up in this mess. Not a wise hero sacrificing with eyes wide open to serve the cause of freedom.

Certainly, since he originally burst on the world scene, there's been nothing high-minded or rational about his revelation of silly and spiteful personal views that are not only not wise, not knowledgeable, not sensible, not decent, but mean and deluded.

Asked recently by Amy Goodman of “Democracy Now” if he does prefer Trump over Clinton, Assange replied, “You’re asking me, do I prefer cholera or gonorrhea?”

From a security guy concerning the hacking of the DNC later revealed by the useful idiots on Wiki...including Hillary hater Assange.

"...It turns out there’s hardly any mystery there. It’s no secret that the DNC was recently subject to a major hack, one which independent cybersecurity experts easily assessed as being the work of Russian intelligence through previously known cut-outs. One of them, called COZY BEAR or APT 29, has used spear-phishing to gain illegal access to many private networks in the West, as well as the White House, the State Department, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff last year. Another hacking group involved in the attack on the DNC, called FANCY BEAR or APT 28, is a well-known Russian front, as I’ve previously profiled."

Trump is Putin's guy...given what Trump said on Nato...he would basically give Eastern Europe to the Russians which would start WWIII in my opinion.

Wikileaks takes what other people offer it. Of course it would not then ask for something not being offered such as information on one political candidate over another.

WL received info on Dems, printed info on Dems, and has none from the Repubs. If they did have such info on Repubs, I'm saying WL would print that information.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/27/us/politics/assange-timed-wikileaks-release-of-democratic-emails-to-harm-hillary-clinton.html?_r=0

Any credibility that Assange had was badly damaged by the the actual content of what he had called "explosive and incriminating" DNC emails. One email chain among thousands of documents in which three people (one of whom was not DWS) floated an extremely stupid talking point that was never used.

Then Julian compounded the perception that he's an absolute tool by touting the release of voice mail messages left for the DNC. Apparently, Mr. Assange thinks accused rapists should not be bothered by police questions while recipients of messages should be punished for what other people said.

Then Assange talked a big game on Bill Mahr's show about Trump's tax returns, only to have his leash unceremoniously jerked back a few yards by whoever really controls Wikileaks the very next day.

Whatever damage Assange tries to do to the Democrats from this point on is tainted by what this idiot has done in the past month. Well played, oh stalwart guardian of the people's right to know....only the bogus narratives that you're trying to sell.

I'm always amused by people who put more stock in any nonsense that confirms their conspiracy theories than they do in a televised interview with the actual man under discussion and a report of the interview in the New York Times.

And I watched the video Wikileaks links to. Julian waxes profound, solemnly pronouncing that Hillary Clinton should be indicted but won't be because of the corrupt Justice Department that's part of the corrupt Obama administration.

Yup. Sounds like right wing, anti-Hillary talking points to me.

that supports their conspiracy theory. Wikileaks gave you the source to compare.

Anyone who has done any research into Assange and what he says knows that he believes in complete opened in government, and believes in publishing any and all previously secreted information into the public realm. Whether you or I think that is a good idea is another discussion.

If you recall, New York Times published all kinds of complete bullshit on their front page in support of Bush's invasion of Iraq.

Maybe I'm wrong about the headline in the OP. Please point me to a source that supports that sentence.
