Couldn't top Trump in 2020 by going more incompetent, but could top by choosing someone far more electable and far more extreme, so I offer Paul Ryan. That nice face belies a commitment to changes that would devastate many millions of American families, create a permanent low-pay majority working class, making unionization illegal, and change the ideology of America away from what our liberal founding fathers gave us toward that they fought so hard to prevent. Libertarian government would be inherently unstable and trend naturally to a business-favoring fasciscm.
