...math-y type. Years ago, my husband gave me a book entitled Math Without Tears. I got to page 6, which made no sense. I read it 3 more times. It still did not make sense, so I gave up. I wish I were better at it.

My last marking period of high school math was a unit on calculus. The teacher handed us a little black book, and said, "Here. This is all self-explanatory." She was wrong.
