Trump/RNC Claim They Are Going to "Reset" His Campaign Tomorrow...4 Days After the Last "Reset"

Seriously, these silly assholes just need to just pack it in and accept that they aren't going to take the presidency this year. Every few weeks, we hear about Trump and the RNC claiming that he is going to "pivot" or "reset" or "moderate". Now we are at 2 times in one week where they claim that they are going to "reset" the campaign. A few hours after the last "reset" trump talked about wanting to have Clinton assassinated. You know, I'm fine with Trump bankrupting the republicans and dragging the RNC, along with the House and Senate GOP into the abyss but hearing the same damn story every week and now several times a week about how Trump is finally going to start acting normal, its just cringeworthy now. Watching Trump and the RNC try to patch things up is like watching two people that hate each other try to save their marriage. Its just awful and uncomfortable.

Donald Trump’s campaign and top Republican Party officials plan what one person called a “come to Jesus” meeting on Friday in Orlando to discuss the Republican nominee’s struggling campaign, according to multiple sources familiar with the scheduled sit-down.

Though a campaign source dismissed it as a "typical" gathering, others described it as a more serious meeting, with one calling it an "emergency meeting." It comes at a time of mounting tension between the campaign and the Republican National Committee, which is facing pressure to pull the plug on Trump’s campaign and redirect party funds down ballot to protect congressional majorities endangered by Trump’s candidacy.

-snip-

Another person familiar with the meeting, a Republican operative who works with the campaign, said the planned gathering was “a come-to-Jesus meeting.” That source said that many Trump campaign staffers share the party officials’ frustrations with Trump’s penchant for self-sabotaging rhetoric. “What’s bothering people on the campaign is that they feel like they’re doing all the right things, but they’re losing every news cycle to Hillary and there’s nothing they can do about it.

-snip

But party officials have grumbled that Trump has ignored their advice on how to professionalize his campaign, while trying to seize too much control of the party’s fundraising apparatus.

They're going to tell him to STFU again and he won't. There won't be another meeting, they will just freeze him out after this.

It seems he almost is looking for a way out.

He is going to lose and there will be excuses for the rest of his life about why he was the rightful president but it was stolen from him. The system was rigged, there was voter fraud, the RNC sabotaged him; he will never admit that he had no business running for president to begin with. Just excuses and crocodile tears.

He's still in primary mode.

He'll start running against the Republicans and running ads against them.

So yeah, I HOPE they freeze him out.

Before his last reset, he was attacking a gold star family. Before that reset, he was attacking a federal judge because of his ethnicity. Before that reset, he was calling Mexicans "murderers and rapists".

...on the night that he lost the iowa caucuses and he didn't use the n-word in his concession speech, the media claimed that trump was maturing as a candidate. Then there was right after Cruz dropped out, the RNC and again the media claimed that he was going to "pivot" to the general election. Of course after he attacked a judge for being hispanic the RNC said they had a sit down with him and that he promised to be more disciplined. Then some other crazy shit happened like 4 days later and he fired his campaign manager, which meant the Manafort was going to professionalize the campaign. When he picked Pence, that was supposed to be evidence that he was buckling down and ready to give it a real shot. And after that there as the convention, which was supposed to redefine and reintroduce Trump. That attempted skidded out on the runway and burst into flames before it could take off. Once that pivot failed, he was going to come out and really bring it to hillary....then he went after the Khan family and tried to base his fall strategy off of attacking an innocent muslim family. After taking away too long to realize that was a bad idea, he had his "reset" on monday, which involved a dull speech and then calls on a lone gunman to help him win the election.

And then we reach the present, where he is currently calling Obama the leader of ISIS and has to have another timeout with the RNC, which he won't even attend. So to answer your question, probably 7 or 8 major attempts and dozens of minor attempts that we probably don't know about. How many more? Well we are currently at 2 per week now, so at this rate, some 22ish more attempts.

I wonder if that was a separate event or part of the last "reset" on monday. Could there really have been 3 attempts in 10 days to get him to act like a normal human for a few hours?

but I repeat myself. Trump's plan is right there in the article:

"... Trump has ignored their advice ... while trying to seize too much control of the party's fundraising apparatus." Trump is running his "campaign" like a grift. He wants their money. Period. That is it.
