That is they do it with a straight face, they do not present meaningful facts in explanation of the subject which contradict his statements, as they do when reporting a murder where the facts disagree with the killer's statements.

They still appear to indulge the spoiled brat if not encourage his distortions. I know why they do it here in NC. It is to avoid angering the GOP owners of the stations, the advertisers, and the rabid idiots who vote GOP here every time their fearful strings get plucked. Radio here is just as bad that way. Trump's an outrageous politician but only that. His egregious commentary and obvious lies are discussed as if they are just politics as usual, and as if Trump is simply the MC of the clown show that all politicians belong to.

I think that the local and national push back is beginning to have effect here. However when Gov. McCrory backs Trump 110% and then presumes to act for NC by blaming Hillary Clinton for Trump's ‘Second Amendment people’ uproar the local press still acts like he is on the planet.
