If Trump's claim was sarcasm, then he just called his own surrogates a bunch of idiots.

What is sarcasm? Holding a position that you oppose, in an exaggerated fashion, for comedic effect.

1. Trump said that Obama founded ISIS. But he was sarcastic: He believes the opposite. Only a bunch of idiots would believe that Obama founded ISIS.

2. Trump-surrogates said that Obama founded ISIS.

=> Trump believes that his surrogates are a bunch of idiots.

Some journalist should ask him about that.

The perpetual 24/7 media surrogates like Katrina Pierson and Scotty (Scottie ?) Hughes have shown they have no qualms about lying as indicated by Pierson's claim that Obama and Hillary were responsible for Khan's son's death even though Bush was in the WH at that time.

The others are either political mercs who will serve as long as they get a paycheck or people like Carson, Gingrich or Christie who are looking for a different type of payoff should Trump become POTUS.

Not a soul/conscience among any of them.

His surrogates have been red faced and twisting in their seats trying to explain what he really meant, not one of them mentioned sarcasm. This completely undercuts them and makes them look even more foolish than usual.
