(58,662 posts)some irony there.
But overall, good ad. Have to love how they are using Repubs in ads against Repubs.

(4,311 posts)I hope they run some of these ads on TV. They've (The Briefing ones) been mostly for the online market so far.

(5,737 posts)But Trump's batshit crazy supporters think it is fine. In fact, they want him to play the bully and not give in to releasing those returns. his followers are typical chicken shit bullies that want to hide behind somebody, and that somebody is Trump right now.

(1 post)Brilliant build up to that line. Once again, damning Trump with his own words.

(6,917 posts)A bad ad on this Trump vulnerability would have wasted a golden opportunity. This ad is good for so many reasons. But mostly, it is not over-the-top and arrogant. It is not even heavy questioning.
It is a simple story with simple music. The Trump camp has no geniuses like these ad wizards.

(4,113 posts)and Republican spokespersons' own words to attack Trump. They aren't narrated by some sinister-sounding person (usually female) who attempts to convince you that Trump is the spawn of Satan. In past attack ads against Democrats, the narrator makes the candidate look and sound like they're the most corrupt and/or incompetent person who ever ran for office. The Clinton/pro-Clinton PAC ads just replay comments from Republican/conservative colleagues or Trump himself. And they're not some selective part of their comments that can be taken out of context (Remember Al Gore supposedly saying he invented the internet?).

(4,113 posts)Often, you have to really grasp and pull stuff out of your butt to come up with an attack ad. With Trump's and Republican colleagues' comments coming at you almost every day, the ads write themselves and are delivered in a gift wrapped box.

(23,102 posts)This gets to the heart of the issue of Drumpf being a liar and untrustworthy. I think it would show that he's in debt up to his ears to Russia, has nowhere near the income/assets he claims, and is about to go bankrupt. I'm sure it will also show dodgy tax avoidance schemes, which is one of the reasons for him being audited before. If he didn't keep trying to cheat, the government wouldn't have to audit him all the time.
I want to see and the one about his cheating people out of wages and being sued 200+ times for that. Both of them would definitely hurt him, because they show the mean, untrustworthy, lying bully behind the hair.
