Unlike the whitewashing of the Reagan years, George W. Bush never even existed in the alternate reality of the Republican universe. Everything that happened during Bush's 1st term has been blamed on Bill Clinton, and either Obama or Obama/Clinton are accused of everything that happened during his 2nd term.

And this crazy old fool proves that been the plan all along.

They blamed the Economic meltdown on Jimmy Carter and the Community Reinvestment Act!

One thing you have to give them credit for is the ability to collectively make shit up.

I kid you not, I had a buddy claim FDR started the Depression. Now he had a few drinks, or more, and unfortunately for him we were sitting around the table with six other college friends. Now he got his talking points confused, you know, the one that FDR extended the Depression due to his economic policies. (If you listen to Hate Radio or Fox you would hear this)

In this case the room went silent. Now I looked around, everyone was in shock, so I stated, "XXXX we went the the same college, the same High School, the same grade school, correction you went to Catholic Grade school, so should have been better educated, so there is no way you learned this fact in school. What the fuck after school caused you to come up with that ignorant statement?" Now I know he listens to Rush so I knew where his de-education was originating. The room sat in silence for another second or two until another one stated, that is one of the dumbest fucking statements I have ever heard.

Now the good news, my buddy still listens to Hate Radio, and comes up with some truly ignorant statements. The buddy that said it was one of the dumbest fucking statement he ever heard. Him and his wife were Republicans and during that same conversation he was defending Cheney. A year later they both were registered Dems! His wife told me they were just too damn embarrassed to be Republicans and started looking at other news sources and realized that for 25 years they had been duped.

Next month when we get together, it will be an even split Dems/Reps. I am trying to figure out how to steer the conversation away from politics, because there will be know way to stop from laughing at any attempt by them to defend Trump. The newly converted couple have signed up to volunteer on the Hillary campaign so they should be plenty pumped up, which will allow me to sit back and watch.

I told people this for years since the tea party became a "thing." It was so obvious I couldn't believe
more people didn't catch this.

Not surprised though, no one would listen to me in 2000 when I said Bush and Cheney were on a mission to start WW3 or something like it.

deaths of scores of firefighters and police officers by refusing to upgrade their shitty walkie talkies and by housing the EOC in 7 WTC. Then there's his office's insistence that there was no health danger working in The Pit, And he and Bernie Kerik starting that "security" company that had contracts with all sorts of sketchy characters. Then Guiliani pushed Bush to appoint Kerik Secretary of Homeland Security. 9/11 was the greatest thing that ever happened to Guiliani and he capitalized on it in the most vile, despicable ways possible. It's so good seeing Guiliani's nose being rubbed in his lies.

It was very interesting and I was among the gullible.

Secondly, in his warped mind (and in the minds of other deluded Repubs)
the attack on the World Trade Center happened during Bill Clintons watch --
even though it happened NINE MONTHS after Bush The Lesser had taken office.

And, of course, this coincides with the blatant lie and false claim that Clinton
failed to alert them to impending attacks. They were warned and did nothing.

And Giuliani is transparent in emphasizing "here in the U.S." in order to divert
attention from the shit show of death and destruction which the invasion of Iraq
had caused, and continues to cause, in the Middle East -- which includes the
creation of Al Qaeda and ISIS and all the people they have killed in that region
and Europe. Fuck You 100 times !!!!

Bottom line: Republicans are never to blame for anything... if you ask a lying
Republican like this jackass.

That pissed me off so much when I heard that vile POS completely ignore 9/11, especially since he has built a career on that horrific day. To a man--and --a woman--Trump and his supporters/apologists are the most vile, dishonest, miserable bunch of un-American, unpatriotic cretins that I've ever had the displeasure to witness.

On February 26, 1993, terrorists parked a rental van in a garage underneath the World Trade Center’s twin towers and lit the fuses on a massive homemade bomb stuffed inside. Six people died and more than 1,000 were injured in the subsequent explosion. Authorities sibsequently uncovered a related plot, in which followers of Sheikh Abdel Rahman, planned to blow up the George Washington Bridge, the United Nations headquarters and other New York City landmarks.
David Dinkins (D) was mayor during the terrorist attack

In 1989, Giuliani entered the race for mayor of New York City as a candidate of the Republican and Liberal parties. He lost by the closest margin in the city's history. However in 1993, Giuiani's campaign focused on quality of life, crime, business and education made him the 107th Mayor of the City of New York. (he won key burrough votes) In 1997 he was re-elected by a wide margin, carrying four out of New York City's five boroughs.
