Its time to accept that Donald Trump is never going to learn basic stuff about the worldUpdated by Zack Beauchamp @zackbeauchamp zack@vox.com Aug 16, 2016, 8:50a
On Monday, Donald Trump gave a speech billed as a major address on terrorism policy. It was nonsense, meant literally: not merely wrong but actually incoherent; a mishmash of logical fallacies, lies, and contradictions.
Over the course of a single speech, Trump managed to: completely contradict many of his most important past positions on foreign policy; reject nation building even while endorsing an indefinite occupation of Iraq; and make embarrassing factual errors about a whole host of topics ranging from NATO to the rise of ISIS.
Trump has been running for president for more than a year, and his foreign policy vision still doesnt cross the basic threshold of being logically coherent and grounded in actual facts. Its time to accept that the GOPs nominee wont change that he really will never learn the most fundamental stuff youd expect a presidential candidate to have mastered before he began his campaign.

(28,270 posts)He is a republican unfortunately but get this.
He hated Trump during their primaries LOL
He hasn't talked any politics with me since Trump won so I'm not sure if he will vote for him or just stay home on election day.
Hopefully he will sit it out.
