will go Dem. Its those surrounding counties and suburbs where republican votes are concentrated and of course all the small counties in nowhere land will be republican as well.

6% vs. 16%. And the margin is 6% whether Gary Johnson is included or not. I think that's as low as it will go, but Clinton could close the gap further with GOTV of Latinos and African Americans.

faster than anywhere else in the country.

I don't think dems will be competitive in TX this year. However, 2020 is another story.

Being competitive is not necessarily the same thing as winning. In years past when the R won Texas by 30, those were non competitive elections.

Texas was a blue state (in terms of presidential votes) for a little while before it turned deep red..
