Rudy Giuliani blames his use of 'abbreviated' language for 9/11-forgetting gaffe, claim no terror attacks happened 'before Obama came along'OMG, Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday he obvs hasn't forgotten about 9/11 and claimed that his remark was totes "misinterpreted" because he simply likes to speak in "abbreviated" language.
In a conversation with the Daily News one day after the former New York mayor apparently failed to remember the worst terror attack in U.S. history, Giuliani said the gaffe was only a product of the brevity he likes to use while on the campaign stump for Donald Trump.
"I'm not there to give a major 45-minute policy address," he said of his Trump introduction Monday in Youngstown, Ohio, where he said plainly that "under those eight years, before Obama came along, we didn't have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack inside the United States."
"You speak in somewhat abbreviated language," Giuliani told The News Tuesday. "All human beings speak in abbreviated language at times."
