Jill Stein's VP doubles down on calling Obama "Uncle Tom" in truly wild town hall

She is just awful:

Jill Stein's vice presidential running mate, Ajamu Baraka, defended his decision to call President Barack Obama an "Uncle Tom president," saying he "stands by" his choice to use the racially charged slur he's used to describe America's first black president.

The moment came Wednesday night during CNN's Green Party town hall, when moderator Chris Cuomo asked Baraka why he has used the term "Uncle Tom" to criticize Obama's presidency.

(…)
Cuomo then turned to Stein to ask whether she agrees with her running mate's decision to use a slur against Obama.

Stein did not disavow Baraka's response, giving a vague answer with buzzwords.

"I am so grateful that we have an opportunity to go beyond sound bites," Stein said. "And I understand Ajamu's passion, his frustration and his struggle. And I also understand his transcendence and the way in which this is a challenge to us all right now — to both feel the passion of our struggle but also to be capable of transcending it and connecting with each other, healing our wounds and forging a bigger vision and a bigger community."

She went on to say that she's "worked with Ajamu for years" and that she has "never heard him use derogatory language."

get that Black supporters of hers who bash Pres. Obama will not appeal to Black voters en masse. You'd think she'd notice this president has a 90% approval rating with black voters, but I guess not. This is part of one of her biggest problems all along. She assumes that everyone, deep down, thinks like her and shares her perpetual disgruntlement with this President and her desire to tear him down. Many in the Black community (and many Americans in general) are appreciative of what he has done during the past 7 1/2 years.

After reading this excerpt form the CNN article on their Green Party Town Hall, can anyone still defend this woman?

(Snip)

Stein made clear, as she has her entire campaign, that she believes Clinton is not an acceptable choice for president.
Stein hit her from the left, but she also made the case against Clinton on matters of trust.
She implied Clinton was so well-connected as to be above the law. With regard to the former secretary of state's email controversy, Stein called Clinton "too big to jail."
Compounding her concerns with Clinton's character and alleged impropriety, Stein hit Clinton's record on foreign policy.
"I do have serious questions about Hillary's judgment, her safeguarding of national security information and above all, her trustworthiness in the job where she will have her finger on the button," Stein said.
Ending the critique with an appeal to voters, Stein summarized: "I have serious concerns about Hillary. That's why I'm in this race -- to provide an alternative."
Stein also criticized Clinton's brand of feminism, by casting the Democrat as pro-war, and therefore anti-woman.
"The war effort that Hillary has especially been the engine behind ... To my mind, that's just not compatible with what my view of feminism is, that has a responsibility, not just to your own family, but to all families and to the human family," she said.

Some of this sound familiar - it should - deja vu all over again.

Green Party town hall: What stood out?
https://www.rt.com/op-edge/356516-baraka-campaign-stein-us/

RT: It is quite unusual that the day after the town hall nobody was talking about it, including media. What stood out on this to you?

Carey Campbell: Dr. Jill Stein, the Green Party nominee for president, certainly stood out for being the best, the strongest, the smartest candidate for president. The way she handled the program with such beauty, grace and intelligence… I have my conservative relatives in Kentucky, in Tennessee writing to me while they were watching it: “Oh, I see what you’ve been talking about!” That is what stood out – that she reached across from conservative to progressive, from left to right, and she normally does when people actually get to see her, and she touched them.

RT: What can you say about Ajamu Baraka? How did he do? He seems like a person with a lot of depth, but he is not out there on social media, and so on.

CC: He certainly appeals to me, and I reach him on another level – he has this wonderful similar hairline that I do [laughs]. I thought he was a very cool customer. I have run six times in the last 16 years for local offices and the independent endorsed by the Independent Green Party. Mr. Baraka is now a candidate for public office for the first time in his life. Amazingly cool, amazingly calm. Stein used the words to describe him: “Inspirational, passionate advocate and a voice for justice and human rights.” And he showed it [Wednesday] night with his compassion and with his calm. He brings a positive force to the Green Party ticket with Dr. Stein.

What a special snowflake, this one - "she touched them." I guess if your head is emptier than a box of knock-out gas, you think calling the first black president "Uncle Tom" is cool and inspirational. And I guess it doesn't bother you that this race-baiting asshole who has never held an office in his life was deemed qualified to be the Vice President of the United States by Comrade Stein. Oh, that's right - she's just a glorified dog-catcher. Mr. Campbell, you sir, are a fucking moron; and your candidate is crack-pot and a quack. Not that you would know. Oh, and this probably doesn't bug you, but she's also Putin's second-favorite dancing monkey.
