2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumNone of Trump’s Top Aides Have Run a Campaign
Donald Trumps team has always been a lean operation fueled by the candidate himself rather than the organization around him, but from the very beginning the Trump campaign included people who had at least some experience running political campaigns, ABC News reports.
But now the top ranks of the team include family members, conservative media executive Stephen Bannon and Republican pollster Kellyanne Conway, the new campaign manager. None of them have experience managing a campaign.

(15,805 posts)Look who he has brought on board, Bannon, Roger Stone, Roger Ailes, not political campaign experts, but media experts. Trump's packing a grudge against most of the top national media outlets including Fox. Now several news articles have written that Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are looking at either investing in, or taking over an existing media company.
He holds no loyalty to Republicans or the functions of government, laws or the Constitution. He does not want to become the president and live under the rules, restrictions and obligations of that office, but he does crave the show, the adoration of his fans and the attention from his opponents.
Trump wants to LOSE the election. Then he will be able cry that it was rigged, and do just what he's already promised, blame the 'crooked' librul media. He will launch an ultra rightwing media corporation to build on his campaign slogan and deliver the same themes of fear and hate, racism, bigotry and misogyny that his fringy fans expect. Look for TrumpTV, Trump Radio, TrumpWeb...
