Red/Blue or Purple? map, election 2012.

I saw these after the 2008 election and here is the current ones. They are the usual red/blue by state, also by county, and purple, and by population vs state landmass, and by electoral votes. Very interesting. More at the link.

By the the looks of that map. The other map looks like some kind of new organism.
