FYI per Nate Silver: As a warning, there's been an increase in fake polls this year.

As a warning, there's been an increase in fake polls this year. Random people throwing up a website & citing their "polls" to get attention.

I'm not throwing shade at any pollsters you've ever heard of. We're talking really obscure cases. But be careful what you retweet / link to.

We're VERY inclusive at 538 and will include crappy polls so long as we're confident they're real. But sometimes things don't check out.

Sure glad so many "concerned" people are willing to spew these "fake" polls to "help" Hillary win! Funny thing is I notices a whole of of the recs that show up on those "concern" threads are from some of the old trash and bash posters from the primaries.

attention to is 538. They have proven to be very accurate over the course of many elections, and they're very cautious about jumping on spikes & drops to make sure they're real.
