2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI don't know if anyone has posted this, but looks like Romney has fallen below 48% in popular vote
Here's a link to a Chart that updates with the new numbers as they become available:

I am so hoping that when the 10 MILLION ballots that haven't been counted yet come in,
he will have a 47% number
And here's a link regarding Nate Silver's tweet regarding the ballots that haven't been counted yet: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251237474

(36,437 posts)1. I'm waiting for 2 numbers
1) Obama surpasses a 3,012,166 lead on Romney. That's the margin in pure vote of Bush's 2004 win over Kerry. Obama is currently leading by 2,991,647, so he's closing in on that spread fast. Washington and California still have tons of ballots outstanding. Arizona will probably bump Romney's numbers.
2) Obama passing 62,040,610. That was Dubya's total in 2004. Obama is currently at 61,122,638. That means he needs 917,972 to make it. I don't think that much is out there, to be honest, but it would be nice to see.
