Murphy broke with the majority of House Democrats to support two bills in 2014 and 2015 that expedited approvals for companies that export liquefied natural gas to countries that don't have a free-trade agreement with the U.S. As a result, Freeport LNG Development of Texas is among the companies that received expedited export permits.
Freeport spent up to $260,000 to lobby Congress in 2014 and 2015, according to its lobbying registration. CEO Michael Smith also gave $5,400 to Murphy's campaign and $100,000 to pro-Murphy super PAC Floridians for a Strong Middle Class in 2015.
Smith, who has donated to Murphy's campaigns since 2012, owns a home on the same road where Murphy's parents have a condominium unit on the swanky Fisher Island off Miami Beach.

This is getting better by the minute.
Maybe his challenger will pull a massive haul in Martha's Vineyard and surge past him.

I guess the Sierra Club & The League of Conservation Voters disagrees with you and your claim that the 2 things are mutually exclusive.....
As for the video. It's a nine minute video that I've watched before and he didn't blow up. The headline is hyperbole. Just like your claims.

(114,904 posts)And he's nothing at all like Bernie. Yes, his political stances align closely with mine, but I've long had the same feeling about him that I had about John Edwards.
Furthermore he wouldn't stand a chance of beating Rubio.
It's a shame Pam Keith doesn't stand a chance.
Murphy is a blatant political opportunist, but he's the best chance at defeating Rubio and he'll be controlled by the leadership in the Senate if the dems take it back.

Lolitta Grayson claimed she got hit during the incident that is on the video.
She did not get hit as the video clearly shows.

Sorry but I trust what I see in the video which CLEARLY shows that Lolitta lied then. And I trust the daughter who claims her mom has been abusive and controlling.
Lolitta Grayson also tried to hide the fact that she was already married and got her divorce secretly after being married for four years.
Lolitta Grayson is not credible.

And children who grow up in abusive households frequently have a distorted lens and many side with the abusive parent.
