I'm sorry but I wouldn't even know who he was if not for Bernie, Tim really is a national figure because of Bernie

(34,648 posts)no one would even know his name if not for Bernie. He should be grateful

(58,785 posts)a national figure to his supporters, and it's also true that it was Canova's job to get the locals who actually vote to support him.

(34,648 posts)It is Canova's job to get folks to want to vote for him. I wonder if he thought that was Bernie's job.

(58,785 posts)Communication problem, perhaps. Too bad.

(11,631 posts)Bernie don't return his calls. It was a weird focus on Maddow's show about Bernie's new Revolution falling apart because the staffers hate Weaver. I don't know why she's after Bernie right now.

(34,169 posts)Everyone except for Bill and Tim seem to have disappeared and even Bill is giving vanilla speeches.
Makes sense. This way HRC can stand out.

(28,876 posts)This has been a 6 month smear of the man. Seems personal, honestly.
I mean, really, with Trump's campaign imploding, she wants to stoke Democratic internal strife?
Extremely telling.

(32,886 posts)had this idea that Rachel was against Sanders. She irritated me enough with her coverage of things that were negatives for Hillary that I think she was probably being fair to both sides. But to some folks, if a host didn't worship their candidate, they were against them. That's what we are seeing here.
This has nothing to do with the primary and it certainly doesnt involve a non-existent thing Maddow has against Sanders.

(7,906 posts)Everything seems to be a conspiracy theory to some.
It would be nice if people could move on.

(32,886 posts)If Canova feels that way, its news, particularly since Bernie is the one who put him on the map.

(25,471 posts)so that's a curious thing to say.
If he was expecting Bernie to become directly involved in his campaign, I think his expectations were a bit unrealistic.

(58,785 posts)Bernie's a national figure with real power -- witness his friends right here on this thread. If he had called for people to donate to Canova and gone down there and appeared with him, perhaps it would have made a real difference. Canova's running against DWS, after all, and many Bernie supporters came to hate her.
And even if Canova lost this time, a better showing than losing by double digits would have set him up for another run in 2018.

(2,145 posts)for her in the coming months. I sent Canova money several times. Hope I don't regret it. But i do not trust Maddow.
Hortensis
(58,785 posts)but Canova's the one claiming that he got no further help from Bernie after he promised it. The others are just reporting that.

(30,481 posts)Sanders played a large role in filling his coffers. Hey Tim, you have a role to play yourself. This is your campaign and Sanders already stood up to bat for you. Take responsibility.

(36,298 posts)And why should we care that he's disappointed with Bernie?

(9,148 posts)Their Cannova campaign was soley for revenge of the person that gave Sanders a Party home to run within.
Appears they both cried when they failed to unseat their targets.
Neither were known until someone gave them a place.
I don't care at all what happens to either of them.
