(9,350 posts)Trump supporters have no reason to be angry. Neither Hillary Clinton nor her supporters claim Trump is a racist or bigot. All the ad does is quote Trump supporters.

(19,066 posts)Hits the nail on the head, hope it gets talked about a lot.
The thing about the Clinton Campaign is they don't make or run ads that they haven't researched their effectiveness. This ad was vetted and will run in accordance with how effective the research says it will be.

(1,214 posts)Hillary is just shining a bright light on it!
I'm thrilled to see such strong ads from the Democratic Party.
This ones going to leave a mark. The only people who will denounce it are the very same kind of racist people it quotes.

And she's going to blast that beam loud & clear till KKK is seared into his forehead forever.
She'll mark every last one of them. Trump, Bannon, alt-right...>>>>>
She's had enough of this .

(9,148 posts)Thanks for posting.
He needs to wear that KKK label loud & clear because every State he manages to win in November will wear it with him.
Exposure is the only remedy there is. Step forward for all the world to see, then label them "terrorists", a threat to America.
They are.

(112,179 posts)I have doubts because of the backlash that is occurring not only on the twitter site, but also this YouTube site. This has a lot of potential to backfire as it indicates that Clinton is willing to "go there" tying Trump with the KKK. She has the lead so why would she need to hit so hard against Trump?
The account name on the YouTube video is suspect and there also is nothing that indicates that the ad was approved by Clinton or who paid for the advertisement which I believe is required by law. This seems like a false flag operation.

(58,785 posts)We not only outnumber those people several times over, but even many of Trump's own supporters reject them.
Thinking of that, though this ad is no doubt aimed at white wobblers who don't like his racism and are looking for a way to be able to vote for Trump, it's probably also aimed at wobblers in his camp to force them to confront his racism.

(58,785 posts)Actually, the same black minister who spoke at the Republican convention is doing that for him.
"Hillary Clinton and her campaign went to a disgusting new low today as they released a video tying the Trump Campaign with horrific racial images," Burns said in the statement emailed out by the Trump campaign. "This type of rhetoric and repulsive advertising is revolting and completely beyond the pale. I call on Hillary Clinton to disavow this video and her campaign for this sickening act that has no place in our world."
Oh, and Trump on the stump a few minutes ago (apparently they think this is hurting!):
Many Republican voters may want to be able to vote for Trump without overtly endorsing racism, but this ad tells them he OWNS it period!
