obama voters kill senate pickup chance in Nevada....

obama got about 529,000 votes in NV but dem senate candidate Berkley got only 444.000 votes. That is a surplus of 85000 votes not given to Berkley . had they done so we would have picked up another seat....unless I am missing something about that.

You're right they were 24/7 and with a level of vicious I've never seen showing the worst photos of Shelly Berkley they could find.

2. Maybe this is evidence of ballot malfunctions.

What kind of voting set up is there in Berkley's area?

Maybe there should be a challenge about those missing votes.

12. So how does the voter get to see that their whole selection went through?

Does the print out itself actually spit out to the voter?

I say this because there were a lot of reports that touch screens were malfunctioning in regards to the "party line" function in the opposite way. (I think that was Florida and maybe a few others.) The President would be selected and then as people moved on to select others down ticket the Presidential selection would switch from Obama to Romney.

All I'm saying is that is a lot of votes and if it is going to be challenged at all it needs to be done soon, but voters have the right to know.

Some people might have just come out to vote for Prez. Some might have believed negative ads, but it's a big number.

If all of the straight dem ticket voters had also voted for Obama, Obama would have taken the state. I'm convinced.

5. The ads against Berkley here were vicious. It was really a shame. Plus they said she did

not really campaign much in Washoe County. I guess she relied to heavily on Clark to carry her. I voted for her.

Amy Kloubachar was noted for running a very positive campaign and defeated her opponent by a huge margin.

11/07/12 - Too many Democratic deserters cost Berkley a U.S. Senate seat - Jon Ralston Reports

While Obama was gathering leads in 'all important' Clark County of 56 - 42 over Romney,

Berkley only managed a lead of 50 - 41 over Heller. <NV SoS Clark County>

Not enough to overcome the remainder of the state. And she lost overall by 12,000, while Obama won by over 66,000.

Use the DU Google search to find GOTV %statename%. I did a whole series of early vote tallies before the election.

OFA Nevada was a machine. No ifs ands or buts about it.

none of this, including Obama's reelection was a given.

votes aren't transferable and Nevadans are somewhat independent voters.

14. There have always been split ticket voters and we've usually come out on the better end of it.

This year we slaughtered the GOP in the split ticket sweepstakes - they got Heller and we got Tester, McCaskill, Heitkamp, Donnelly, and Manchin.
