"Killery"

I've read this term on two separate non political boards in the last week. They use Trump's name as it is and "Killery" to refer to Hillery. You can read it as killer or kill her. Trump's odiousness is being spread everywhere. Is anything being done officially about it?

Even though my life has been going fairly well lately, I have a lot of stress because of this. Last night I woke up several times with this on my mind.

Can anyone say anything to lessen my stress?

They are shit heads. Very sick people. By way of the thoughts you have let us see here, you are a damn good person with a conscience. "Killery" is a statement about them. Not about Clinton or anyone else.

Clinton is protected as best she can be. Clinton is also extremely strong and understands the risks. Don't worry about her in that aspect. Worry about electing her and keeping the bulls eye on her. Clinton has embraced it, though I'm sure she doesn't like it. These sick people are not going to back down.

in seemingly greater numbers, or at least the unleashing of it. While sunlight is supposed to be the best disinfectant, I worry that it allows the toxic virus to spread.

It's all so desperately unsettling, even the fact we in this country are in a position to have to spend so much oxygen on Trump et al.

It hasn't just become acceptable. Things are boiling over a bit and it is sad that such public displays are happening. Still, pretty minor compared to the past. We do have a small yet extremely vocal group who Trump and others have made to feel emboldened.

When they're not calling her the Hildebeast or Hitlery.

It's been around for a while. But, in general, it's pathetic little losers who use that kind of language, those too dumb and lazy to actually do something about it.

In general, it's their way of expressing hate, not advocacy of violence.

They're a lost cause, supporting Trump no matter what.

They're also very DANGEROUS because they're not bright enough to know better. They might as well all be schizophrenic and believe that their dogs are talking to them.

Not to mention the people in their midst who played roles in REAL political damage in the past. Monica is still alive the last time I heard.

If some low-level gopher at state campaign headquarters gets murdered or commits suicide, that person is added to the list. It's so insane.

It's not like dentistry is on par with the reasoning required to become an astrophysicist.

It still blows my mind sometimes.

Scientists, even astrophysicists, are often very narrowly educated except in their own field.

For a broad view of the human condition, I'd look for someone educated in the Humanities before I'd ask an astrophysicist or neurosurgeon, as delightful as they might be in talking about their own subject.

... math and physics majors. That was my experience. Several of the students in the humanities seemed a bit unstable to me, but I'll admit that I wasn't around them very much.

I wasn't terribly impressed by the medical doctors and students that I met as a graduate research assistant doing statistical work for them, to be honest. They all seemed to have skill at memorization, but their reasoning skills weren't great in general.

The computer science majors seemed the most narrow-minded to me. They reminded me of the kids from my high school who only cared about working on cars and reading car magazines, except with computers as their focus instead. They didn't seem like the kind of people who would be much fun at dinner parties.

EDIT: I'm writing in broad generalities that wouldn't apply to everyone, of course!

There's a reason so many politicians start out as Poli Sci majors and then become lawyers. For the ones we on the left like, it's quite good training.

EDIT: Most scientists are Democrats, by the way.
http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/science/2010/12/lab_politics.html

A Pew Research Center Poll from July 2009 showed that only around 6 percent of U.S. scientists are Republicans; 55 percent are Democrats, 32 percent are independent, and the rest "don't know" their affiliation.

I'm curious about the political breakdown among other fields.

....biofeedback, ANY of those things that will cause me to slow down, learn to breathe (seriously), and let go. I really scared my husband.

In my life there are some of the people I am related to (which is what, at least in that moment, sent me to the doc with chest pains) -- and there is politics, which also causes great stress.

Listen to me: I cannot control any of those people or things.

And my choice is that I will not hasten a heart attack or stroke by letting them consume my life.

When people here complain about the MSM, I recommend turning off the tv and turning on the radio to NPR. In the evening, there is PBS news, with intelligent commentary. This is Friday, and PBS will have two news programs to wrap up the week. Even their conservative is intelligent. Nobody yells.

I have not fully implemented this plan -- let's just say I am in recovery. And I am calmer.

All of you -- this political season is toxic, and we must fight back. But in this process, let us not drink that poison and harm ourselves.

I do lots of exercise, sleep 9 hours unless I can't, stay hydrated etc.

I take in zip MSM and zip Trump. I read about it all at DU which while giving the info provides buffer.

I have to give a lot of credit to those here who are able to stomach MSM and Trump in order to report here.

What I want is some officials sounding the alarm with warnings to those spreading this filth, especially Trump and his pig ignorant advisors who are fomenting, inciting, whatever anyone wants to call it.

clever to invoke death when mentioning her name, it fits in with the fiction they created about the people they say she killed, the supposed "left" picked it up during the primary to slander her, courtesy of the ratfckers, and the tumpeteers and CONS enjoy using it too.

What's to be done about ignorant hate filled morons on the internet who profession it is to spread such filth?

Why is it causing you stress? You don't believe any of their smears, do you? The littlest bit of research will educate you on why these outright lies are just that. No need to stress. This level of abuse is what smart, successful, competent woman have ALWAYS been subject to. Just take a deep breath and understand that those who use these terms and parrot other idiocies are merely declaring their misogyny, their ignorance, and their low functioning intelligence and let simply flow over you and not take hold.
