(28,343 posts)treatment for individuals who are falling through that particular crack now. Those who go untreated because they refuse all treatment until they eventually suffer complete self-destruction; or destroy others.

(41,991 posts)At least not in the way we think of as solved. Treatment often doesn't work, sadly, or people are unable for one reason or another to use it. Letting go of the responsibility of cure is very hard. It leaves you with difficult choices.

I'm confident we can do better for these vulnerable people, if we try.
