Trump's Disastrous Campaign is Hillary's Best Asset

Donald Trump has gone negative in a big way - on himself. His flipping back and forth and ugly language, along with his crude, bully-looking appearance characterize his campaign. He's getting all the attention of the media, as well, and that's all to the good.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton and her campaign team are taking a more quiet approach, letting Trump slowly piss off pretty much everyone as he goes. Clinton is putting forward her plans and strategies, quietly, but strongly. Trump is shouting and getting all that coverage, but it's hurting him badly, since he demonstrates daily that he is unfit for office.

The Clinton campaign does not need to attack Trump. He's doing a great job of doing that for himself. Polls have been steady, and show a solid victory coming for Hillary, but they may not be telling the entire story in 2016. Instead, they may be missing the entire group that might have voted for a Republican, but who are so depressed by Trump that they may simply sit home on November 8.

We still have debates coming up. Trump will bluster, shout, sneer and blame and Hillary Clinton will state her case and not bite on his bait. She'll look surprised that Trump said what he said and then shrug it off and go ahead and present her position, looking very presidential all the while.

I have a prediction that I've made here before: On November 9, Hillary Clinton will have locked up 350+ electoral votes. By election day, Donald Trump will have pissed off enough more people to make that happen. All on his own. No need for Clinton to attack him directly. She just needs to let him attack his own candidacy again and again. And he'll be happy to oblige. No doubt about it.

...he doesn't have to lose it. But it will make for a dull showing against Clinton.

2. Hillary's qualifications are her best asset, however given an incredibly misogynistic climate

...I didn't want to see her coast to an easy win. Perhaps the debates will highlight what a belligerent airhead is opposing her.

in a long debate. He'll screw up badly more than once. Hillary can, and will, simply let him dig his own grave.

She's smart that way.
