(45,806 posts)Well, there was a short time when Dean was running and we had several hundred people come to meet-ups, but that was it, and those folks seemed to go back in hiding, never to return! I'm having a hard time believing we could actually elect a Democrat, and a WOMAN to boot! There are so many misogynists in the south, to be able to overcome their objections would be historically GREAT!

(5,969 posts)I guess Trump leads in GA and AZ but only a 2 point overall lead seems strange when Hillary leads big in PA, in NC and with the poll including states like WI and MI.

(15,512 posts)where the race was tantalizingly close for a few weeks there. I think Hillary even slipped behind for a spell, depending on how creative the accounting was. And then came the first debate in October and it was never really a question again.
