House Armed Services Committee Chair Won't Say If Trump Is Fit To Be Prez

During a Wednesday interview on MSNBC, Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-TX), the chair of the House Armed Services Committee, would not say whether he believes Donald Trump is prepared to be president and commander in chief.

"Do you have confidence in Donald Trump's abilities as it relates to being commander in chief?" MSNBC's Hallie Jackson asked Thornberry.

"I think there are a number of national security folks who have concerns about what both candidates have said and done," Thornberry replied, adding that it will be important to listen to both candidates' proposals for the military leading up to the election.

Jackson then asked Thornberry if he personally has concerns about Trump's ability to be commander in chief.
