My NEW Twitter war: I have a new target. RUDE Trump surrogate "Babbling Boris" Epshteyn

I watched Lawrence O'Donnell last night and there was one split-screen segment involving three guests including David Corn and "Babbling Boris" Epshteyn, motormouth filibustering Trump-Talker. Rude. Interrupting all the time. Talking over anybody else all the time. I HAD ENOUGH!

So this morning, I went to battle again. But this time I hoped to spread the word more aggressively. I've sent about 20 different versions of these by now:

@BorisEP Now referring to you as "Babbling Boris." You're a SUPERB example to kids re: rudeness, bullying! @ABCWorldNews @CBSNews @JoeNBC

Then I added two or three other @(name here) that spanned the media universe - talking heads, anchorpeople, reporters, columnists like Paul Krugman, the Stephanie Miller Show, ABC, NBC Nightly News, my "beloved" Andrea Mitchell, Kate Snow, Chris Matthews, George Stephanopoulos, Wolf Blitzer, Jonathan Capehart, David Corn, Scott Pelley, Jake Tapper, Eugene Robinson, Brian Stelter (THIS ONE could be really important. He's the host of the now-GREATLY-improved CNN's "Reliable Sources" that takes a critical look at the coverage - or lack thereof - nowadays) and the like. Tried to hit a whole lotta everybody.

Here's an earlier thread about another very recent Twitter deluge? (war? storm? rampage?) No idea what you call this. I'm just getting started in the "Twitterverse."

Wanna join in? Many of the Twitter names are in this other thread linked above here. It's so easy I can do it. And I'm somewhat pea-brained about this stuff.

I'd kick him off the show and not let him on again unless he promised to keep his answers under 30 second and not talk over the other guests.

I would, too, VMA131Marine! Not because I know anything about the discipline that's implied from your screen name. Mine comes from being a mom. The rules are simple. Reinforce and/or reward GOOD behavior. The flip side is DO NOT reinforce and/or reward bad behavior. Simple.

Every time this rude, bullying motormouth comes on the air, he strives to monopolize everything. Even if it's just him one-on-one with the host. But woe to anybody else who's usually aware of this thing called GOOD MANNERS, because he'll stomp all over them. Talk over them, butt in, start defending/offending without even letting the speaker of the moment finish a sentence. That's what he did on Lawrence O'Donnell's show last night, during a panel including David Corn (who tried to hold his own) and Stuart Stevens, another GOPer who barely even got a single word in edgewise.

Seems to me, as a mom, that is bad behavior - behavior that should NOT be encouraged, or ignored (which thereby means the bad behavior goes unchecked). Which is the offender's hope and strategy. You attempt to overpower the speaker who's saying stuff you disagree with or otherwise don't like, so maybe they'll back down and you can just have the floor AGAIN. And most of the time, you just HAD the floor, which is why the host asked ANOTHER panelist this question AFTER finishing your turn. Either way, you A) shut down the opponent and B) take the floor to make your own case - even while it means you're making your case because you've stolen THEIR time.

So I'm wondering if we ought to start a campaign urging that ol' Babbling Boris NOT be booked because he's so rude and he won't shut up, and he interrupts constantly, and starts talking over another speaker and will not concede the floor, even when it's not his turn. Define this quite technically as "a thing." "Being rude" should be a new battle cry, that means all the obnoxious aggressions just listed above, here.

Perhaps some of the hosts announce, up front before interview segment gets rolling, that this kind of misconduct will not be allowed. It's Three Strikes. The first time you're rude, you get a verbal warning. The second time you're rude your mic is cut. It will be restored the next time you're called - and don't worry, you'll be called again later. The third time, your mic shuts off you're off the show. You will no longer be booked as a guest. (We have TONS of options. Too many, feels like.)

Whaddya think?
