At the end of the day though, he still represents regression, not progress. Hopefully he doesn't win whatever race he is going to enter.

(144 posts)While we may not like him, the dust will settle by the time he makes his run that the country may be ready for another Bush (well almost half of it anyway) the point is it would be unwise not to take him seriously. He is a moderate Republican with an interesting pedigree that would be appealing. I posted on this late last night when the story broke and I knew 10 years ago that he'd one day get into politics.

(1,277 posts)Wasnt there something about a restraining order an old girlfriend got against him after he vandalized her property? It would have been years ago but demonstrates some tendencies toward bad decision making which seems to run deep in that family.

But as I said in the post it shows tendency. Tendencies that could reoccur.
