Chuck Todd has recently increased the ick factor.

Before the debate, he was pontificating on the deck of the ship and favoring us with his wisdom. He got this REALLY sweet, gooey, coy look on his face (think a 40's ingénue from a B Hollywood movie), all doe eyed and open mouthed, and said he was looking forward to the moment when one of the candidates "connected" with a veteran. That's was what he was hoping to see in the forum. Gag.

Today when a guest was saying something mildly critical about trump praising putin, he displayed the same creepy look, and asked, but do voters really care about that? His guest seemed startled by a response more typical of a middle- schooler.

Gosh, I wonder which candidate will benefit from this increasingly dumbed down coverage?

Just....ick!!!!!!!!!!!

instead of Chuck Toad since he's supposed to be the political director? Is his star fading too as Lauer's most certainly is now?

NBC has some actual talent on staff and they picked Lauer.

Joy Reid, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell all would have done a much better job than the pathetic Lauer.

It's as if he has decided it just doesn't matter if Trump juet perpetuates lie after lie. Hillary might have seemed "defensive" when she was asked about those stupid emails for the 1000th time.
