Trump: if people in little Iranian boats make "gestures," he'll order them shot out of the water.

"When they circle our beautiful destroyers with their little boats and they make gestures at our people that they shouldn't be allowed to make, they will be shot out of the water," he said.

Trump has based his foreign policy beliefs on keeping the United States out of what he called "endless wars" in the Middle East.

Visiting a city with a U.S. Navy base and where many military veterans live, Trump said he wants a stronger military to project American power and bolster the United States as the leader of the world.

Trump this week laid out a plan to spend many billions of dollars on bolstering the U.S. military, including more ships, planes and troops.

Being over the top and bombastic is to be expected from Donald Trump. I guess what turned my stomach the most was the idiots standing behind him cheering. I am not sure I can take two more months of this. I may have to take a time out from all news until this election is in the history books. The thought that I live among these poor deluded people is enough to make me strongly consider fleeing this place.

whether Iran has any anti-ship missiles (they do) and consider if they would like to trade the deaths of 20 people on a glorified Boston Whaler for a US destroyer and crew. Because if you are stupid enough to shoot first it will be either that trade or ANOTHER war, with at least two other wars still active....

Wonder if they would be ok with it. Say good bye to your brother, dad, uncle, sister. Trump didn't like the hand gesture.
