Infectious disease expert: a Presidential candidate is at high risk for pneumonia.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/doctors-pneumonia-is-serious-but-clinton-should-bounce-back/2016/09/11/4d9dd100-787e-11e6-8064-c1ddc8a724bb_story.html

WHAT IS PNEUMONIA?

Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs. Often it’s a bacterial infection that sweeps in after a cold or flu virus. Each year, about 1 million people in the United States seek hospital care because of pneumonia, and it causes tens of thousands of deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

A presidential candidate is at high risk for such an infection, said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease expert at Vanderbilt University.

“Candidates are constantly out in enclosed spaces, face to face with myriads of people,” he said. “It’s an ideal opportunity for the transmission of a respiratory virus.”

Added Dr. Stephen Hargarten, head of emergency medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin: “I’m not surprised to hear this happen to someone engaged in the kind of frenetic schedule she has.”

When you are around people all the time ( in my case, children who think nothing of sneezing on you! ), it's easy to catch something! Shaking hands? Oh yeah, very easy

.

Fearing the antibiotic resistance, and the help of an Army wife relative who turned me on to elecampane, I haven't had to take a Z-PAC 10 in over 5 years. I come down with 3-4 flair ups a year. Just take that, cough syrup every 4 hours, even through the night, and two Vick's Menthol Steamer treatments (when I start late). Three times a day, 30 drops in an 8 ounce glass of water. It tastes like the center part of a carrot, kind of earthy, but it freakin' works.

Supposedly, it also aids in fighting anthrax exposures, and there is no genetic resistance mutations.

Oh, my four kids take it and extended family. We have not taken the kids to a doctor for chest infection type colds either. The worst case is four days, with average recovery in 2.5 days. The kids go back to school in 2 days.

It comes on when I am severely run down, from work and lack of sleep.

Barack was being interviewed and was asked what advice he was given in his first meeting with dubya. Dubya told him to keep purrel for sanitizing his hands after shaking hands. He was told if you don't do this, you will catch more colds than you would ever expect.
Hillary could have gotten a cold, that led to pneumonia.
