2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAndrea Mitchell doing a long hit job on Hillary
and saying over and over that the Clinton camp had an 'obligation' to tell the press--and the American people-- the diagnosis of pneumonia on Friday. I imagine the press will pick up on the word -obligation!!

My goodness, I could swear her eyes turn green anytime I've seen her talking about Hillary Clinton over these many years.

(58,785 posts)of their temporary health issues. HRC had no more obligation to "disclose" an easily curable early pneumonia than she would a head cold. Chronic medical conditions that could affect ability to do the job are another matter.
As for Mitchell trying to style Hillary's pneumonia as equivalent to Carter's melanoma with brain mets, she has no more ethics than our cat, and the very comparison's an insult to poor Oliver. He's everything a cat should be and certainly no hypocrite.
madaboutharry
(40,212 posts)it wasn't as much a long hit job as it was Andrea complaining about how the press was kept waiting for information. Also, she was critical of Trump.
But, as usual with Andrea Mitchell, it was about herself and what she had access to.

So where are your allegiances Andrea? Who's camp are you in?

(32,086 posts). He's on the "Both sides do it" wagon again. Hey, asshole. Hillary already has released her medical records. Instead of spouting nonsense, why don't you go look at them? This is the kind of shit I expect from Nicole Wallace, who did not fail me this morning. Kornacki is as big a joke as she is.

(2,340 posts)heavens!
It's funny. During the Primary campaigns, I was a Bernie supporter and I thought Andrea Mitchell was a
Hillary supporter and slanted her coverage toward her. It's funny how we perceive things, isn't it?

(92,219 posts)them every chance she gets. That you would perceive that she wasn't fair to Bernie is also not a surprise, since she also has a tendency to go out of her way against Democrats in general

(9,959 posts)...if we want people to respect their elders, Hillary should give Andrea more than 48 hours notice about any health concern. This way, Andrea can process the information and get copy written for her TV show. She needs a little more time, now - it happens to everyone, sooner or later...
