Newsweek writer suggests Donald Trump was institutionalized for nervous breakdown in 1990

I don't have great faith in this site, but what the hell. He's constantly claiming things that are untrue, so goose/gander.

Newsweek writer suggests Donald Trump was institutionalized for nervous breakdown in 1990
By Daily News Bin | September 13, 2016 | 0

Donald Trump was institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990, according to a tweet posted this evening – and then deleted – by Newsweek writer Kurt Eichenwald. He stated his belief that Trump is refusing to release anything about his medical records or history for fear that it could lead to this particular detail being uncovered from his past. But why did Eichenwald subsequently delete his tweet and then insist that his big Newsweek cover story coming out tomorrow is about a different topic?

Eichenwald’s original tweet said the following: “I believe Trump was institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990, which is why he won’t release his medical records.” Rather than elaborating or providing evidence of this claim, he deleted his tweet – but not before it was screen capped by Rolling Stone writer Corbin Reiff, who asked Eichenwalkd to elaborate.

Eichenwald responded in a manner which made it sound like he only deleted the tweet because it was causing so much confusion about his upcoming story on another topic, which he’s been hyping for the past week. “Folks: I don’t have story coming out tomorrow that Trump had a breakdown. Order of tweets confused ppl I believe. Topic is other major thing.”

He also subsequently tweeted that “No one in the press even knows whether Trump has experienced a nervous breakdown or been institutionalized. We need medical records.” So it’s not immediately clear whether he was actually making the claim that Donald Trump had been institutionalized in the tweet which he deleted, or if he was merely trying to make a point about Trump’s lack of transparency.

In any case it’s still not clear what Kurt Eichenwald’s upcoming Newsweek cover story is actually about, though we’ll find out when it’s released tomorrow. As for his apparent claim that Trump was institutionalized, which again he has provided no evidence of, this story is still developing.

One has to wonder why the guy would tweet this and open himself to libel. I'm not holding my breath but there could be something to this.

We have a lot of people who are championing Trump who is a functional halfwit. Do you think they will listen to reason or give anyone a chance who has, yes, this stigma?

No laughing matter, usually a life long affair with monitoring. But if you want to be POTUS, it is a big deal. And with Trump, it's not too hard to imagine him having such an issue. Perhaps he did not it, but without medical records we'l not know, and I don't know, lot of people on the internet are saying ...

Based on what I've observed, narcissists are prone to phony nervous breakdowns when people become aware of the narcissists' games and can't get away with screwing others over. It's all an act to get attention.

This is not a normal election. This is no time for high-mindedness. If this psycho wins we may as well say goodbye to America as we know it.

Isn't that how the Trump camp has been operating. Suggest something and say People are saying....

The thing about this is that, people WILL believe it, because the man is nuts.

... If this deleted tweet was about Hillary, it would be enough for the right wing media to make it into headlines. By their standards with Hillary, this tweet is definitive proof that Trump is mentally ill and unfit to be president.

Since Trump and his supporters maintain he was not making fun of a disabled reporter, this event clearly shows someone have some sort of seizure or psychotic break. Watch it without sound. Clearly, Trump is not mentally well:

I've long felt that H/Dems should've dug deep into Trump's medical history to try the counter and neutralize the 'Hillary healtherism' bullshit. Trump does not live a healthy lifestyle, he's bound to have something.
