2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumNew Virginia poll Clinton 40 Trump 37
Poll by University Mary Washington. You know it is bad when you only have a 3 point lead in the state that your running mate is from. I live in VA and the thought of Trump winning here makes me ill. Hillary should have kept her ads up.

(4,156 posts)VA has been a purple state, and there are a lot of conservatives there, so it's not a surprise (for me) that tRump is close.
What I DO find remarkable is that HRC is right on his ASS in Texas.

(25,111 posts)Texas has a sizeable electoral pool. I'm amazed that RV's 4 up for HRC wherein LV is 6 for t-rump and the underestimate of Latin voters. Even HRC's campaign is there in full force. Must be something. Also, AZ and GA are close as well. VA is a win for HRC, I have no doubt on that.

(170 posts)Had us up 7 in VA. We are fine there. We will have bad polls until later next week, the health schade hurt some. Heileman said it would happen but only a short term problem.

(6,977 posts)Is legit, or if this pollster is like the ORO/CNN poll who crafted their poll to show a horse race happening. NOT at all saying that I didn't know the race wouldn't grow tighter as time went on, and not that there are solid pollsters out there.
However, I no longer trust many pollsters due to their changing the dynamics of their polling to show them wanting a horse race presidential race so you'll watch their station for news of this horse race between Clinton & tRump.
