Who better to convince Mormons that Trump is dangerous to the LDS community than Mitt Romney, the most successful Mormon politician ever.
The first signs quoting Romney’s attacks on Trump went up in the Arizona community of Snowflake on Thursday. It is Jeff Flake’s hometown and perhaps the most Mormon town in Arizona.
The 3 x 8 banners say;
“Donald Trump is a phony and a fraud” — Mitt Romney
Trump “would balloon the deficit and national debt” — Mitt Romney
Trump’s “domestic policies would lead to recession — Mitt Romney
Trump “lacks temperament to be president” — Mitt Romney
“Dishonesty is Trump’s hallmark” — Mitt Romney
Mormons are a significant part of the Republican voting block in Arizona and their coolness to Trump has tied up the race in the Copper State.
Well, this is exhilarating.
