Ummm, the birtherism story is not over, just saying...

Trump campaign, but not Trump, says Obama was born in the US

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump's campaign says the billionaire now believes President Barack Obama was born in the United States -- but the Republican nominee still can't bring himself to say it out loud and in public.

Instead, the Republican nominee turned to an adviser late Thursday to release a statement attempting to finally lay to rest the birtherism crusade that effectively launched Trump's rabble-rousing political career five years ago.
"Having successfully obtained President Obama's birth certificate when others could not, Mr. Trump believes that President Obama was born in the United States," said Jason Miller, Trump's senior communications adviser.

BTW, I see a lot of blubbering about the polls here... The only thing that accomplishes is it encourages the trolls and give succor to our enemies. Concern is always warranted. In fact it is prudent. Blubbering isn't.

- Trump's flunkies said it. He has to say it
- What gave him the right to question the legitimacy of the first black president in the first place?

the one that will resonate with people getting out to vote for Hillary

We need to push the Supreme Court, Citizens United, Civil Rights, Gender Rights, jobs, the economy, etc.

A trump/pence win has the potential to destroy the country

this statement by the Trump campaign is a slap in the face to everyone who was already upset about the birther thing. It does the opposite of putting it to rest. It's another opportunity for him to boast about "closing deals," not apologize, let alone take responsibility for what he's done. It's another opportunity for him to LIE and deflect blame to the Clinton campaign.

Trump is garbage. The only "change" he's effecting is to divide and tear the country apart, and if he were elected president, his "change" would include dividing and tearing the whole world apart.

What Trump did in trying to delegitimize the president was DEPLORABLE.
